Made with sensitive and red/irritated skin* in mind, this bar is made with gentle olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil.  Blue Tansy (Moroccan Blue Chamomile extract - Tanacetum annuum), organic frankincense, and cedar essential oils are added to further reduce inflammation and protect skin. 

The scent profile is slightly fruity with camphor undertones - like a natural clean aftershave. 

The Science of Blue Tansy 

Blue Tansy has been used topically for breast cancer patients to ease redness and irritation in radiation treatments.

Blue Tansy is highly favored in anecdotal oncology care and over-the-counter soothing balms. This is primarily due to its chemical profile: 

Chamazulene: This compound gives the essential oil its deep blue color and is widely recognized in preclinical research for its robust anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. 
Camphor and Sabinene: These naturally occurring components help calm skin redness, heat, and irritation, mimicking the relief needed for radiation dermatitis (which behaves similarly to a severe sunburn).
